Are you gearing up for your family's first magical adventure to DisneyWorld? As a mom of two little princesses who have explored every nook and cranny of the enchanting kingdom, I have some valuable tips to share that can enhance your experience and make lasting memories.

Before you even step foot into the magical world of Disney, planning is key. Make sure to check the park's schedule, create a flexible itinerary, and book FastPasses for popular attractions to avoid long lines and make the most of your time in the park. PhotoPass was a must for me and so glad we did it! There are so many photo spots throughout the park with professional photographers, so you don't have to worry about finding someone to snap a quick photo of your family together!
Encourage your little ones to dress up as their favorite Disney characters. Not only will this make them feel like royalty, but it's also perfect for capturing those unforgettable photo moments. Remember to pack comfortable shoes for those long days of exploring! We did comfortable outfits for Day 1 & Princesses for Day 2!

Walking around the sprawling park can make everyone thirsty and hungry. Bring refillable water bottles to stay hydrated and pack some nutritious snacks to keep energy levels up. You can also indulge in some iconic Disney treats like churros and Mickey-shaped ice creams!
Here is a 2-Day Magic Kingdom Park Itinerary
Park Day #1 - Magic Kingdom
Purchased Genie+ and ILL for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Selected Peter Pan for our first G+ (Return Time = 10:45 am)
• Bus from AOA at 7:30
• Entered the park and took some photos, lined up to the early entry rope at Fantasyland at 8:20 am
• Ride Winnie the Pooh (done at 8:50 am)
• Ride Mad Tea Party (done at 9:05 am)
• Redeem ILL for 7DMT (half of our party did Carrousel instead)
• Meet Tiana/ Rapunzel
• Snack at Gaston's Tavern (10:10 am): Cinnamon Bun (0/10 for me, do not recommend) + LeFou's Brew (it was OK, would not rebuy)
• Ride Small World (done by 10:45)
• Redeem G+ for Peter Pan (done by 11:20)
• Lunch at Pinocchio Village Haus: Buffalo Flatbread (was really good!), kids had chicken fingers, was fun to overlook Small World but a family nearby was hoarding the signs so we didn't get to do that part.
• Watch Mickey's PhilHarmagic (12:40)
• Redeem G+ for Meeting Mickey at Town Square Theatre
• Took the bus back to AOA (1:12 pm, 15 min ride) + resort break until 4pm
• Bus back to MK at 4:07 pm
• Redeem G+ to Meet Cinderella/ Elena
• Redeem G+ for Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
• Dinner: Cosmic Ray's (decent food, nothing stands out to me, adults got the Greek Chicken Salad)
• Snack: Cheshire Cat Tail (10/10 - did not look appealing to me, I got it because Instagram told me to, and was very pleasantly surprised!)
• Ride Dumbo
• Redeem G+ for Journey of the Little Mermaid (7:15 pm)
• Play at Dumbo Playground
• Ride Tomorrowland Speedway x2
• Redeem G+ for Barnstormer (done by 8:30)
• Fireworks
Park Day #2 - Magic Kingdom
Purchased G+ again. Selected Jungle Cruise for our first G+ ride.
• Bus from AOA at 8:23 (arrived to MK at 8:43)
• Snack: Nutella Waffle from Sleepy Hollow (10/10 so goooood, we got 3 to share among the 5 of us)
• Redeem G+ for Jungle Cruise (done by 10 am)
• Ride Magic Carpets
• Explore Swiss Family Treehouse
• Meet Jasmine/ Aladdin
• Redeem G+ for Pirates of the Caribbean
• Snack: Dole Whip Float/ Tropical Serenade from Aloha Isle (10/10)
• Watch Tiki Room (12 pm)
• Redeem G+ for Haunted Mansion (12:30)
• Snack: Mickey Pretzel
• Explore Tom Sawyer Island
• Lunch: Columbia Harbour House (Lobster Roll, kids had chicken fingers/ fried shrimp - very good food here)
• Watch the Parade at 3pm - we stood in front of Liberty Tree Tavern, had a spot right behind the rope and it was great
• Redeem G+ for Big Thunder Mountain (half of our party did Liberty Riverboat instead)
• Met Peter Pan
• Ride PeopleMover
• Redeem G+ for Space Mountain (half of our party did Carousel of Progress instead) (4:45 pm)
• We left MK and took the monorail over to Polynesian Resort to check it out and eat at the QS there
• Came back and did Monsters Inc Laugh Floor
• Met Chip n Dale
• Ride Tomorrowland Speedway
• Did Rapunzel Lantern photos
• Left MK right as fireworks were beginning, and got back to AOA by 9:30 pm

Overall Thoughts:
• MK is for sure a 2-day park.
• I had planned where I wanted to stand for fireworks, but we ran late with our rides so by the time we got there at 8:30 the main plaza area was already a zoo and we had to just take what we got, which in the end was surprisingly decent spot! Lots of cast members directing traffic. A bit claustrophobic, but the fireworks were worth it!
• ILL for 7DMT was worth it - only 2 in our party rode this, but there was no way we could have tolerated the standby line, which from what I could tell was never less than 45 min.
Meeting beloved Disney characters is a highlight for many young visitors. Make a list of must-meet characters and their locations in the park. Watching the joy on your child's face when they hug Mickey Mouse is truly priceless.
